OUR COMMITMENT
Our hope is that your first tour, class, or event with Tulip City Paddle Tours is an enjoyable experience. Thus, our goal is to provide thorough and complete communications and be clear with the details of our agreement with you. 

PRIVACY POLICY
Our terms and conditions include this Privacy Policy with regards to sharing customer information, data collection, marketing, email newsletters and cookies.

PREPARING FOR YOUR OUTING
We do our best to provide you with everything you need for your excursion with Tulip City Paddle Tours. In your confirmation and reminder emails, we explain proper clothing, give directions and a link to the site.

Most of our tours are suitable for beginners; however, some are more challenging than others. These are labeled as not for beginners. A spirit of adventure is a good thing to bring along.   It’s important that you understand the physical requirements for whatever tour you choose.  If you’re not sure about this, or you’re not sure which trip or date will best meet your needs, please contact us for advice from our talented and knowledgeable tour guides.  Be sure to read the “Trip Member’s Responsibility” below and if you have any medical concerns, we encourage you to speak with your doctor before booking with us.

If you are planning a special event during the trip such as a birthday or anniversary, please let us know as we always have a few surprises up our sleeves. 

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
If you find it necessary to cancel your tour/event/class, you can cancel or reschedule from the link in your email booking confirmation.  If cancellations are made prior to 24 hours of the event, you will be fully refunded.  Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows will be fully charged. In the event of inclement weather, your booking may be rescheduled.  If you cannot make the new date, a full refund will be offered. 

CLIENT'S RESPONSIBLITY
Clients have the responsibility to select a tour appropriate to their abilities and interests. We are happy to discuss the tours/events with you if you have any questions or concerns. Clients are held responsible for being in sufficient good health to undertake the trip.

Any person who is diabetic, epileptic, or asthmatic or has a history of heart trouble, is allergic to bee stings or takes daily prescription drugs should include this information on the reservation form or send us an email. Clients will also alert their guide(s) of any medical history that could become a problem on the trip. People with a history of heart trouble, pregnant women or any other potentially serious medical condition should consult their doctor before booking a tour/event/class.

RESPONSIBILITY ~ AN IMPORTANT NOTICE
Payment and booking represents your acceptance of the following conditions: Tulip City Paddle Tours LLC and its employees, subsidiaries, and cooperating agencies act only in the capacity of agents for the participants in all matters relating to the provided outings, and assume no responsibility or liability whatsoever for injury, loss or damage to person or property, however caused, in connection with any service, including, but not limited to, that resulting directly or indirectly from weather, delays, failure of any means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, civil disturbances, and discrepancies or changes over which we have no control.

Tulip City Paddle Tours LLC reserves the right, either prior to or after departure, in its good-faith discretion and in circumstances that warrant it, to change any tour, event, or class.  This includes the possibility of moving to a different lake, river, or river segment due to extreme water conditions, road closures and/or weather conditions.  
If we are not able to provide a substitute trip, river, or altered itinerary and have to cancel the departure completely, you will be refunded in full. Refunds are limited to the amount actually paid to Tulip City Paddle Tours LLC.

In the event of trip cancellation, Tulip City Paddle Tours LLC is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by clients, such as travel expenses.

GRATUITY
Gratuities are not included in your tour costs. Gratuities are always appreciated. If you feel the guides and crew have done an exceptional job, tipping is a great way to show your appreciation. 10% of your tour cost is the industry standard – an amount which is then split between the guide(s) and any crew behind the scenes.

PHOTOGRAPHIC RELEASE
Tulip City Paddle Tours LLC reserves the right to take photographic or video records of any of its outings. Clients should be aware that Tulip City Paddle Tours LLC may use these photos or videos for promotional and or commercial purposes without remuneration to the clients. We can keep photos/videos private at clients request.
